Abolition Through Creative Resistance with Copwatch
Description
This workshop with Copwatch will facilitate a discussion among attendees around policing. It will ask: why do we need abolition in our lifetimes, and how can we keep one another safe in our communities? How do we rehearse a world without policing? The second part of the workshop will be a creative session, envisioning the world we want to see through collaging, drawing, painting, writing, banner-making and more. The session will also include a light grounding ritual.

Biographies
Copwatch Network is a police monitoring group and movement to withdraw consent from policing in all its forms, in order to achieve abolition in our lifetimes.
