Designing accessible activism
A workshop led by:
29/10/2023
11:00 – 14:00
ICF @ Block 336
336 Brixton Road
London SW9 7AA
Description
In this workshop led by Project Billinghurst, participants will be guided through a design process to create assistive technologies that will help us to take action around the things that we care about. This will be situated in the context of activism being increasingly constrained in the UK, particularly for disabled people. Whether you are working towards disability rights, providing sanctuary for asylum seekers, protecting the planet from global warming, or agitating for a fair response to the cost of living crisis, come along to generate ideas and prototypes of assistive aids that can help us get there.
This workshop will be BSL interpreted.
