A Way Forward: Healing Justice for Creative Practice
Description
This workshop led by Sarah Al-Sarraj will involve sharing and reflection, embodied practices, creative exercises and mapping. Drawing from the role of creativity in liberation movements of the past, this session will be a space to share and reflect on the potential of creative practice towards liberation and more just and equitable futures. It will attempt to provide participants with individual and shared routes towards a creative practice aligned with integrity and purpose. This session is open to artists, cultural workers, community workers and anyone keen to collectively think about the purpose of culture and creative strategies for movements.
If you require additional access measures to enable your participation, including BSL interpretation please email info@healingjusticeldn.org. Inline with our commitment to disability justice, we will try to accommodate as much as possible.
