JOURNEY TO JUSTICE
Join us on the 3 year anniversary of the opening of Jahiem’s Justice Centre, where 4FRONT will be reflecting on our ‘Journey to Justice.’ Named after 17-year-old Jahiem Legister-Hall – a 4Front member who was tragically killed in 2019 – the centre is a legacy project, built to address the most urgent needs in our community. By transforming a disused chemist into a welcoming base of healing, creativity, and community power – we seek to demonstrate how existing infrastructure can be repurposed to nurture young people and our wider community.
To celebrate this milestone, we will be reflecting on the journey that it took to open Jahiem’s Justice Centre – the first of its kind in the country and giving gratitude to those who paved the way for community spaces like ours to exist. With a focus on honouring our Black sisters who have fought for justice – past and present, this will be a joyful space to celebrate and reflect, with food provided.
